Mentoring Program

Mentoring Future Generations

The Bridges of Hope Mentoring Program exists to serve families in designated New Haven neighborhoods by providing the youth a safe environment for homework, enrichment, and supportive relationships with Christian mentors.

We offer a youth mentoring program for students in grades K-6 in a neighborhood in New Haven. This program is offered every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:15 pm-7 pm.

We are currently accepting applications for the current school year. Volunteers commit one night a week for at least a semester, ideally the entire school year. They also agree to attend at least 4 hours of training and orientation in early September and again in January. Mentors will be responsible to communicate regularly with their mentee's parents, as well.

If you would like to learn more about volunteering as a mentor, please contact info@bridgesnewhaven.org or fill out an initial application below.
